Cause 2. Wheels for Jacob

Goal $1000 This is Jacob. Jacob works full time at the Burrowing Owl as a line cook. During a snow storm in December, Jacob unfortunately wrecked his car and it has not been drivable since the accident. He has been commuting 35+ min to work each day using Uber, Lyft, friends and family. On the days he uses a ride-share, his round trip costs nearly half of his income for that day. SEEDS – Official Rules & Regulations

1. Overview

SEEDS is a donation-based fundraising drawing operated by Seed and Soul Ministry (“Organizer”). SEEDS is designed to support charitable causes, community initiatives, and church operations while offering participants an opportunity to receive prizes based on randomly selected number drawings.

SEEDS is not a lottery, not gambling, and not a game of chance requiring payment to enter. Donations are voluntary and support charitable purposes.

Void where prohibited by law.

2. Eligibility

Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Open to legal residents where participation is permitted by law.
Employees, organizers, and immediate family members may NOT participate

By submitting an entry, participants affirm that they meet eligibility requirements.

3. Entry & Donation Structure

$1 USD = 1 SEEDS entry
Participants may submit multiple entries per drawing period.
Each entry consists of selecting:
- Three (3) “Seed” numbers from 1–11 (no repeating numbers)
- One (1) “Golden Seed” number from 1–14

Entries must be submitted prior to the published cutoff time for each drawing period.

4. Drawing Schedule

Drawings occur the 1st and 15th of every month.
Each drawing period includes two (2) separate drawings:

A. Community Drawing

Winner is selected randomly from all valid entries received during that period.
Odds: 1 in [total number of entries received]

B. Golden Seed Jackpot Drawing

Winning numbers are drawn for:
- 3 Seed numbers (1–11)
- 1 Golden Seed number (1–14)

5. Odds of Winning – Golden Seed Drawing

Odds of matching all four numbers: 1 in 2,310 per entry

Odds are based solely on mathematical probability and are not affected by the number of participants.

6. Prize Structure

Golden Seed Jackpot

30% of total donations from each drawing period are allocated to the Golden Seed Jackpot.
If no participant matches all four numbers:
- The jackpot rolls over to the next drawing period.
If a participant matches all four numbers:
- The jackpot is awarded in full, subject to verification.

Secondary Prizes

Golden Seed Match Only (1 number):

Participant receives $1 USD
Three Seed Match (no Golden Seed):

Participant receives $3 USD

Secondary prizes are awarded per winning entry.

7. Allocation of Funds

All donations collected during each drawing period are allocated as follows:

30% → Community drawing (awarded for each drawing; based on number of entries)
30% → Golden Seed Jackpot (rolls over if no winner)
20% → Designated charitable cause for that drawing period

(Cause is determined and publicly announced prior to the drawing)
10% → Church operations and ministry support
Remaining percentage → Administrative costs, platform fees, and operational expenses

8. Cause Transparency

Each drawing period will clearly disclose:

The specific charitable cause
The intended use of funds
Any affiliated organizations

Funds allocated to causes are distributed in good faith and in alignment with the stated mission.

9. Winner Notification & Verification

Winners will be notified via the contact information provided.
Organizer may require identity verification before prize distribution.
If a winner cannot be verified or contacted within a reasonable time, the prize may be forfeited.

Organizer reserves the right to publish winner information in a limited format (e.g., first name + last initial).

10. No Refunds

Donations are non-refundable.
Entries cannot be modified after submission.
Errors in number selection are the responsibility of the participant.

11. Disclaimer

Participation does not guarantee a prize. All entries are subject to these rules. Organizer reserves the right to:

Modify or cancel a drawing due to unforeseen circumstances
Disqualify entries that violate rules or show signs of abuse
Resolve disputes at its sole discretion

12. Acceptance of Rules

By submitting an entry, participants acknowledge that they have:

Read and understood these Rules & Regulations
Agree to be bound by them
Confirm they are 18 years of age or older
